Claims Specialist

At AXA XL, we're seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Claims Adjuster, you'll play a critical role in managing and resolving claims for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and resolve claims for customers
- Work closely with the team to bring claims to resolution
- Interact and collaborate with the practice leader, underwriting team, brokers, clients, and experts on assigned accounts
- Take ownership of critical issues relating to claims management
- Deal with First Notice of Loss (FNOL) and open claim files
- Consider facts, issues, and next steps in FNOL and identify further issues requiring clarification/investigation
- Consider coverage and policy response
- Identify matters that require referral to external legal panel or other service providers
- Oversee the appropriate direction of the claim and the overall strategy to ensure the best possible resolution is achieved
- Review and process claim payments within authority level
- Deliver a prompt claims service to brokers and clients
- Assist underwriters with claims summaries for renewals
- Ensure all communications are dealt with appropriately and in a timely fashion
- Ensure that all reserves are set and monitored in line with the reserving philosophy
- Ensure that all internal and external SLAs are met
- Ensure that customers are treated fairly at all times
- Works well within a team
