Claims Specialist

AXA XL is seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving claims for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal with First Notice of Loss (FNOL) and open claim files.
  • Consider facts, issues, and next steps in FNOL and identify further issues requiring clarification/investigation.
  • Consider coverage and policy response.
  • Identify matters that require referral to external legal panel or other service providers.
  • Oversee the appropriate direction of the claim and the overall strategy to ensure that the best possible resolution is achieved.
  • Review and process claim payments within authority level.
  • Deliver a prompt claims service to brokers and clients.
  • Assist underwriters with claims summaries for renewals.
  • Ensure all communications are dealt with appropriately and in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that all reserves are set and monitored in line with the reserving philosophy.
  • Ensure that all internal and external SLAs are met.
  • Ensure that customers are treated fairly at all times.
