Job Summary:

Employment Specialists Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Team Leader to join our team. As a Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of claims professionals and supporting the Claims Department in achieving its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of claims professionals to ensure effective handling of clients' claims.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and manage all aspects of quality, including audits, to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including those with complex programs or bespoke plans.
  • Claims Resolution: Resolve complex, sensitive, or disputed claims referrals in a timely and professional manner.
  • Authorised Signatory: Serve as an authorised claims payment signatory.
  • Bespoke Projects: Lead bespoke claims projects and strategic reviews, such as claims settlements or future philosophy.

Requirements:

  • Claims Experience: Confident claims experience, ideally within commercial classes.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities and people skills.
  • Client Focus: A client-centric approach, focused on delivering the best possible outcome for clients.
  • Process Driven: Due diligence and process-driven, with a focus on meeting deadlines and taking initiative when assisting team members.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Planning and Analytical Skills: Strong planning and analytical skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
