Position Overview

This is a fixed-term maternity cover role within a prominent health organization, focusing on crisis resolution for older individuals. The successful candidate will have a regional responsibility, collaborating with various healthcare facilities.

The role entails spending a significant portion of clinical time across multiple sites, enhancing service delivery and support for older adults. The position requires engagement with diverse multi-disciplinary teams, where the post holder will embody an innovative and proactive approach to Clinical Psychology, particularly in the realm of Psychological Medicine.

Main Responsibilities

Although the service operates on a regional basis, the appointed individual will be employed by a reputable NHS Foundation Trust, integrating into three distinct hospital teams. Office accommodations will be provided within the Psychological Medicine and Liaison Psychiatry departments.

Our Psychological Medicine Service comprises a team of experienced Clinical Psychologists who cater to a wide age demographic and collaborate with various medical specialties. Each psychologist possesses specialized knowledge in their respective fields and is accredited in multiple therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to CBT, CAT, IPT, ACT, CFT, and EMDR.
