Position Overview

This role presents an excellent opportunity to demonstrate clinical proficiency across various domains. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and engage in educational, managerial, and quality enhancement initiatives. Our staff is currently participating in training for Open Dialogue, a progressive approach anticipated to improve the well-being of both personnel and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering medical oversight to patients receiving care from the Community Mental Health Team
  • Leading the assessment of new referrals to the team
  • Actively engaging in service evaluation and strategic planning
  • Empowering the team to tackle local challenges through quality improvement methodologies
  • Overseeing and mentoring junior medical personnel
  • Participating in service and operational planning activities
  • Joining the Consultant on-call roster

Qualifications & Experience
Essential Criteria

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with the GMC
  • Good standing with the GMC
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Exceptional clinical skills
Desirable Criteria
  • Higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
  • MRCPsych qualification
  • Additional clinical qualifications
