Dietitian Specialist Learning Disability

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Community Learning Disabilities Team for a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian to work as part of our well-established service. The Community Learning Disabilities Team strives to improve the health and well-being of service users with Learning Disabilities across Leeds.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou will manage your own caseload, which will include service users with a range of dietetic needs, including weight management, diabetes, nutrition support, and enteral feeding. You will also work closely with a range of health and social care partners, including the private and voluntary sectors, and adult social care.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
- Extensive post-registration experience in dietetics
- Caseload management skills
- Interest in working with people with Learning Disabilities
- Evidence of a range of knowledge and skills in dietetics
The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialized services across the country.
