Dietitian Specialist Learning Disability

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Community Learning Disabilities Team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with a diverse range of professionals, including Dietitians, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Nurses, to improve the health and well-being of service users with Learning Disabilities across Leeds.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload, including service users with a range of dietetic needs, such as weight management, diabetes, nutrition support, and enteral feeding.
- Work closely with health and social care partners, including the private and voluntary sectors, and adult social care.
- Deliver training and education sessions for service users, carers, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in clinical supervision, managerial supervision, and performance review/PDP with line manager.

Requirements
- Registered with HPC and BDA.
- Extensive post-registration experience.
- Experience of caseload management.
- Interest in working with people with a Learning Disability.
- Evidence of a range of knowledge and skill in Dietetics.
