Key Responsibilities- **Oversee Supplier Compliance**: Ensure that suppliers adhere to our Operational Resilience Policy, validating resilient operations within our risk appetite through testing.
- **Monitor Supplier Testing**: Track the delivery of supplier testing and assurance plans to guarantee they are completed on time and comprehensive in scope.
- **Provide Second-Line Oversight**: Offer assurance and oversight of suppliers' Business Continuity Management Systems, certified against the BSI ISO22301:2019 standard.
- **Challenge Suppliers**: Encourage suppliers to demonstrate appropriate controls for managing and mitigating their Business Continuity risks.
- **Support BCMS Development**: Assist in the development and implementation of our Corporate Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) aligned to ISO22301:2019.
- **Crisis Management Response**: Contribute to our Gold Strategic Command for crisis management response to incidents affecting our corporate environment.
- **Reporting**: Contribute to reports on testing and assurance activity for senior management, including the Risk Management Committee.
- **Business Continuity Qualification**: Possess a Business Continuity qualification, such as the Certificate of Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), and be an Associate Member of BCI working towards full Membership, Diploma, or have extensive industry experience.
- **Operational Resilience Experience**: Have experience overseeing the implementation of operational resilience strategies, policies, standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
- **Supplier Challenge Experience**: Have experience challenging suppliers on their business continuity and operational resilience control environments.
- **Stakeholder Management**: Possess expertise in managing multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive strategic decision-making.
- **Operational Resilience Knowledge**: Have detailed knowledge of operational resilience principles, the Business Continuity Institutes Good Practice Guidelines, and BSI ISO22301:2019 standard for Business Continuity Management Systems.
