We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Paediatric Oncology and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the management of Paediatric Oncology patients, including inpatient ward reviews, outpatient clinics, and chemotherapy prescribing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines in Paediatric Oncology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex needs.
- Provide education and training to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals on Paediatric Oncology topics.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects in Paediatric Oncology.
- Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
- On the GMC specialist register in Paediatrics or within six months of successful completion of UK paediatric training at the time of interview.
- Higher specialist training in Paediatric Medicine and Paediatric Oncology.
- Experience in managing Paediatric Haematology/Oncology patients.
- Chemotherapy prescribing accreditation.
