About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Oncology Consultant to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Consultant Paediatrician with an interest in Paediatric Oncology, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality paediatric care to patients in east London and beyond.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the short stay attending week rotas and inpatient attending week rotas, as well as contributing to the general paediatric and rapid access clinics. Additionally, you will be expected to work with the Macmillan clinical nurse specialists and other consultant colleagues to provide cover for the service.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice and be on the GMC specialist register in Paediatrics or within 6 months of CCT. You should also have a broad range of clinical experience in Acute General Paediatrics and higher specialist training in Paediatric Medicine.
