About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team at Duval Associates Ltd - Recruitment Specialist - UK. As a Specification Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing our account base and revenue across the leisure & hospitality sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales specialist to join our business and help us drive growth. You will be working closely with our design team to modernize hotel and leisure sector businesses, including hotels, bars, clubs, and pubs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect high potential new corporate customers and grow new revenue, scheduling meetings and presentations to assist in making our business the preferred choice.
  • Responsible for the sales of bespoke products, liaising extensively with internal cross-functional teams to effectively plan and share upcoming project demands.
  • Create and maintain an active pipeline of projects and opportunities. Engage directly with key influencers and business decision makers with the goal of increasing sales.
  • Develop high levels of product knowledge to answer customer questions and provide technical advice as required.
  • Embrace modern sales techniques, submitting information into the CRM system with project logs, call planning, key visit notes, and quotations.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, determining and implementing strategies to meet changing market conditions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and senior management to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to remain at the forefront of the UK Lighting Market.
  • As necessary, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates to line manager and senior management team.
Requirements
  • A pro-active and proven approach to sales, with a strong desire and ability to win and grow new business.
  • You will have experience of selling directly into the hospitality industry with a strong industry network and solid knowledge of market conditions.
  • Possess excellent negotiation, influencing, and account management skills.
  • Experience of working in a target-driven sales role (your drive to achieve this should be unwavering).
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring repeat business and generating new leads.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, combined with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
  • Proficiency in CRM Software is desirable.
  • Hold a Full UK driving license and have a willingness to travel and stay away as required.
