As a Residential Supervisor at EF Academy, you will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and nurturing atmosphere for our vibrant international student body. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the welfare, wellbeing, and personal development of students
  • Establishing professional relationships with students grounded in trust and respect
  • Understanding each student's unique circumstances, needs, strengths, and areas for improvement
  • Assisting in the evaluation of school policies and the boarding handbook
  • Enforcing disciplinary policies within the boarding environment
  • Guaranteeing the safety and security of all boarding students
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of student welfare, achievements, and behavioral issues
  • Developing connections with relevant school staff
  • Communicating with parents, guardians, and admissions teams
  • Coordinating support for students who require health appointments
  • Administering emergency medications (training will be provided)
  • Reporting any concerns to the safeguarding lead

As part of a collaborative team, you will strive to provide all students with an exceptional boarding experience:

  • Ensuring safety through appropriate discipline and support measures
  • Maintaining the well-being of boarders
  • Preparing and serving snacks and meals as necessary
  • Adhering to procedures as outlined by the Residence Manager
  • Participating in quality assurance practices
  • Supporting health and safety standards

To contribute to the academic and broader objectives of the school:

  • Ensuring students arrive at school punctually and engage in effective study
  • Providing assistance to students who are underperforming
  • Encouraging students' aspirations for university and extracurricular activities
  • Supporting the Clubs and Activities program
  • Contributing to the promotion of EF Academy life
  • Attending meetings as required
  • Performing related tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Other Requirements:

  • Possess an Enhanced DBS status
  • Able to live and work in the UK

Remuneration: Competitive salary, accommodation, meals, pension plan, 48 hours per week, 40 days of holiday.
