About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Windows server infrastructure, as well as providing third-line support for our Windows server environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new services and applications, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to the team, ensuring effective and efficient utilisation of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Security Team to investigate and remove vulnerabilities, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Act as a technical escalation point to the tier two support team for incidents and service requests, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Build processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure high-quality customer support, aligning with our ITIL framework.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server OS systems, including Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
  • Experience with management and administration of Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, DNS, and GPOs.
  • Strong knowledge of networking architecture and technologies, including patch management and WSUS.
  • 3rd line support experience, with a focus on Windows Systems backup and restore.
  • Microsoft SQL Database Administration and Microsoft 365 Administration Skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Managing Active Directory Certificate services.
  • MS Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and SCOM experience.
  • Cloud platform technologies, including AWS and MS Azure.
  • ITIL certification and experience working within the ITIL framework.
