About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a client Secondary School in the local area.

This role will involve working in subject classrooms in KS3 and KS4, under the direction of class teachers, promoting the learning of students with a range of educational needs using your enthusiasm and caring approach to learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitating learning across a wide range of subjects, including Maths, English, and Science.
  • Working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
  • Providing support to students with varying educational needs.
  • Collaborating with class teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school environment or similar.
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of working with children.
