About the Role

Creative Support Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and support service users to participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional health, such as exercise, arts and crafts, and social events.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns or incidents.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a care or support role, preferably with individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a willingness to participate in training and education opportunities.
