Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Priory Hospital Enfield. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with acute mental health needs.

About the Role

As a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in providing comprehensive care to patients. You will work closely with Ward Managers, Charge Nurses, Doctors, Support workers, Therapists, Activity Coordinators, and the Senior Management Team to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of professionals in providing comprehensive care to patients
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the quality of care
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health services
  • Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development
  • A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice
