Behaviour Support Position

Location: Sheffield

Salary Scale: £95 - £110 per day

Status: Full Time/Part Time

Overview: GSL Education is looking for a dedicated and skilled Behaviour Support professional to work within our partner schools in Sheffield.

Role Summary: The Behaviour Support role is essential in fostering a supportive and effective educational atmosphere. This position involves collaborating with students, educators, and other school personnel to enhance student behavior, ensuring a safe and productive learning experience for all.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver individualized and group assistance to students facing behavioral challenges.
  • Design and execute behavior management plans tailored to student needs.
  • Engage with teachers, parents, and staff to cultivate a positive educational setting.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Support the overall emotional and academic development of students.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a related role or working with children exhibiting behavioral difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a sincere commitment to student welfare.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Important Note: This position requires a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols. Successful candidates must complete all necessary background checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service or apply for a new check.
