GSL Education is currently looking for a dedicated and qualified Behaviour Support professional to fill a role in one of our partner educational institutions in Sheffield.

Role Overview: The Behaviour Support professional plays a vital role in fostering a positive and effective learning atmosphere. This position involves collaborating with students, educators, and other school personnel to manage and enhance student behavior, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for all.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group support to students facing behavioral challenges
  • Design and execute behavior management plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to cultivate a supportive educational environment
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
  • Contribute to the overall welfare and academic achievement of students

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a comparable role or working with children exhibiting behavioral difficulties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a sincere commitment to student support
  • Capability to work efficiently within a team setting
