The Behaviour Support role is critical in creating a positive and conducive learning environment. The successful candidate will work with students, teachers, and other school staff to manage and improve student behavior, ensuring that all students can learn effectively and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs, developing and implementing behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create a supportive learning environment, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting strategies as needed to ensure the overall well-being and academic success of students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour management plans, working closely with the school's senior leadership team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with behavioural challenges, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students, with a commitment to promoting positive behaviour and outcomes.
  • A strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques, with the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
