Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary Alternative Provision in Sheffield. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a pupil with SEND on a 1:1 basis with daily learning and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to the pupil with SEND
  • Develop and implement behaviour strategies to promote positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with the pupil, teachers, and other support staff to achieve academic and personal goals
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualised education plans
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
