Where you'll be working:

We are seeking an AV Support Specialist.

This position is office-based.

There may be occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities:


• Oversee onsite AV Technical Management, including the setup and installation of AV equipment such as Poly, Crestron, AMX, Cisco, Yealink, Logitech, and Microsoft Teams.


• Conduct routine testing and troubleshooting for projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and LCD/Plasma displays.


• Perform preventative maintenance to address issues or direct them to the appropriate vendor or manufacturer.


• Collaborate with AV equipment manufacturers for solutions or workarounds as necessary.


• Assist in company meetings and events that require AV infrastructure support (audio, video conferencing, webcasting, visual display, or projection).


• Engage with the client Customer Help Desk ticketing system to address end-user requests.


• Manage the setup and dismantling of all onsite meetings.


• Conduct daily system checks to ensure equipment and room functionality.


• Responsible for escalating complex issues to management for resolution.


• Perform remote testing for local and regional offices.


• Manage and configure Polycom AV equipment.


• Experience in videoconferencing, including operation, call setup, and equipment management.


• Establish and test individual and group videoconferencing sessions, providing meeting support and advising users on optimal connection types.

Skills and Qualifications:


• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees, clients, and colleagues at all organizational levels.


• Ensure the operational readiness of all dedicated audio-visual and video production environments.


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.


• Proficient knowledge of Windows-based devices.


• Capable of managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities.


• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated focus on customer service.
