Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Brendoncare Stildon, a leading provider of care services in the South of England. As a Chef in our Bank setting, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious meals for our residents, staff, and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for approximately 60+ people per day, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Chef Manager and take charge of kitchen operations.
  • Cater for staff meals, additional catering requirements for guests, visitors, and relatives of residents.
  • Stock rotation and maintain kitchen cleanliness to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Ensure COSHH standards are exceeded and HACCP records are completed accurately.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Food Safety Qualification.
  • Commercial cooking experience, preferably in a care home setting or catering for older/vulnerable adults.
  • Competent in IT software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene, HACCP, and COSHH legislation and its application.
