Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team. You will play a vital role in assisting an individual named Cristina with her daily routines, promoting her independence, and facilitating her engagement in meaningful activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support with morning and evening care routines, including dressing, transfers, and feeding.
  • Administer medication through a PEG tube and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist with accessing the community and participating in therapy sessions.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment that promotes Cristina's well-being and development.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals involved in Cristina's care.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs, including Cerebral Palsy, PEG feeding, and medication administration through a PEG.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to drive a wheelchair-adapted vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with trauma care for children/young adults.
  • An interest in therapy and rehabilitation.
