Job Title: Special Needs Education Support Worker

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Special Needs Education Support Worker to join our team at a SEMH school in Sevenoaks, Kent. As a Special Needs Education Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH needs, providing a safe and nurturing environment that fosters their emotional and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, adapting to their unique requirements and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist students with daily tasks, such as homework and personal care, promoting independence and self-confidence
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting social skills and emotional well-being

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Level 5 and above
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and creativity in adapting to student needs
