We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to our clients. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex care needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of empathy, understanding, and patience. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to their unique needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex care needs, including those with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and medical conditions.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and medication management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and our team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the individual's needs and preferences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a professional care setting, preferably in complex care.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle clients with care, using hoists and other equipment as needed.
