Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Independent Living Solutions Ltd. As a Female Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

About the Role
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex medical needs, including PEG feeding and medication administration.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as showering, dressing, and transferring using a hoist.
  • Encourage participation in meaningful activities, such as attending day services and working with therapists.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication through a PEG tube and perform necessary flushes.
  • Support with showering, general personal care, and hoisting.
  • Assist with setting up feeds for the day and preparing individuals for bed.
Requirements
  • Essential experience working with complex medical needs, PEG feeding, and administering medication through a PEG.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to drive a wheelchair-adapted vehicle.
  • Ability to work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: £17.00-£19.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
  • Ongoing training and support provided.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata.
  • Free DBS check.
