Job Title: Female Bank Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Bank Support Worker to join our team at ILS Case Management. As a Bank Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, including Cristina, who requires assistance with daily living activities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and care to Cristina, including assisting with her morning and evening routines, engaging in activities of daily living, and accessing the community. You will work closely with our team to ensure that Cristina receives the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Cristina with her morning and evening routines, including personal care, dressing, and transfers
  • Support Cristina to engage in activities of daily living, such as accessing the community and participating in meaningful activities
  • Work with therapists to ensure interventions are maximised and Cristina's needs are met
  • Provide medication through Cristina's PEG tube and necessary flushes
  • Support Cristina to attend a day service and participate in activities
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with complex medical needs and disabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a wheelchair-adapted vehicle
  • Essential experience: Complex medical needs, PEG feeding, and administering medication through a PEG
  • Desirable: Experience working with children/young adults with trauma and an interest in therapy
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate: £17.00-£19.00 per hour, dependent on experience
  • On-going training and support provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
  • Free DBS check
  • Induction, relevant training opportunities, regular clinical supervision/review meetings, and on-going support from a dedicated Case Manager and HR department
