Junior Sister Endoscopy Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Junior Sister Endoscopy Specialist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Endoscopy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient operation of the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and plan patient care, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing practice guidelines and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new services and programs.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse on sub part 1 or 2 of the professional register.
- Evidence of continuing education and professional development.
- NMC recognised Mentorship qualification.
- Teaching and Assessing qualification (desirable).
- Experience in Gastrointestinal Nursing Training (facilitator) (desirable).
- Recognised Leadership Course (desirable).
