Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Junior Sister to join our Endoscopy team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and contributing to the delivery of efficient and productive services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures
  • Develop and implement programs of care to ensure patient safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure high standards of care
  • Participate in preceptorship programs and act as a facilitator, mentor, and role model to student nurses and junior staff
  • Develop and sustain own knowledge, clinical skills, and professional awareness in accordance with NMC requirements

  • Registered Nurse on sub part 1 or 2 of the professional register
  • Evidence of continuing education
