Job Title: New Business and Partnerships Manager

We are seeking an experienced New Business and Partnerships Manager to join our team at WHG. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for establishing and managing partnerships with public and private sector organizations to drive business growth and deliver our company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a partnerships strategy to achieve business growth and deliver our company's objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, NHS trusts, and private sector organizations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including site acquisitions, package deals, and s106s.
  • Manage a portfolio of partnerships, including negotiating Heads of Terms and legal contracts.
  • Provide flexible support to the Assistant Directors and Director of Development and Regeneration, as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience of formulating and managing successful partnerships.
  • Understanding of public funding routes and the compliance and audit framework thereof.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and sound commercial mindset, embracing change, and comfortable making difficult decisions in an ambiguous environment.
  • Exceptional negotiating and influencing skills – identifying where competitive advantage can be sought.
  • Strong project management skills and experienced in negotiating Heads of Terms and legal contracts.
  • Strong networker, who can generate and manage a large workload; be flexible and creative.
