About the Role

Certas Energy UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Commercial Finance to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Commercial Finance Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and support to business leaders, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Working Capital Management: Optimize working capital levels, ensuring efficient cash flow and minimizing financial risks.
  • Financial Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and achieve company goals.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in commercial finance.
  • Financial Expertise: Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, financial drivers, and strategic goals.
  • Qualifications: CIMA or ACA qualified, with a strong understanding of contract accounting and financial regulations.
