Ethan James is a renowned Mechanical and Electrical Contractor specializing in the Design & Build of Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Installations for both Public and Private sectors.
In light of our ongoing success and a robust pipeline of new project awards, we are seeking a Mechanical / Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to become a vital part of our team on a permanent basis.
As the Lead Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects valued up to £10m, playing a crucial role within our organization. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background as a Mechanical Project Engineer or Mechanical Contracts Manager.
- Your responsibilities will include managing on-site teams consisting of M&E Site Managers and Supervisors, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, coordinating with subcontractors, engaging in client project briefings, and ensuring seamless project installations that lead to successful handovers.
In this position, you will hold full accountability for financial management and project programme control, from pre-construction phases through to commissioning and handover stages.
With the support of an exceptional internal M&E design team and commercial department, you will receive significant assistance to execute projects effectively.

We are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer with relevant qualifications in mechanical building services and prior experience in a Project Manager or Contracts Manager role within an M&E Building Services contractor.
