Sanctuary Supported Living is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Community Support Specialist within our Retirement Communities Service.

Key Responsibilities of the Community Support Specialist:

  • Managing front desk reception duties
  • Creating engaging and diverse individual and group activities
  • Promoting and assessing activities for clients, helping them to achieve their full potential
  • Encouraging clients to engage with and integrate into the wider community
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a clean and welcoming environment

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in developing and facilitating client involvement initiatives
  • Previous experience with a similar demographic is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or a willingness to pursue
  • Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C in English and Maths
