Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Line Support Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a First Line Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing effective proactive monitoring of customer equipment and providing first line support and diagnostics for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and Fault Diagnosis: Experience of working in a first line service desk environment and triage and fault diagnosis is desired.
- Customer Communication: Excellent communications skills are required as this is a customer-facing role.
- Technical Skills: Good computer skills and ability to manage several applications at once are necessary.
- BPSS Check: A BPSS check will be required, which will result in additional background checks.
- Event Management: Accurately log, update and close event management tickets in a quality and timely manner as per the documented processes and take the required corrective action where quality issues are identified.
- Technical Fault Coordination: Technical fault co-ordination and wide IT / communications understanding are required.
- Customer Focus: Excellent Customer Focus and an understanding of Key Customer requirements are necessary.
- Internal and External Customer Interaction: Experience in dealing with internal and external Customers/Suppliers is required.
- PC Skills: Good PC skills including MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience: Must have experience of working in a first line service desk environment.
- Skills: Excellent communications skills, good computer skills, and ability to manage several applications at once are necessary.
- Education: Relevant education or training is required.
