We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Account Manager to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. This is an office-based role that requires strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure the division has a fleet of appropriate vehicles that meet business operational and logistical requirements.
- Identify and implement working methods, models, and practices to optimize fleet management, allowing measurement of financial and environmental impact.
- Manage advice and controls to ensure the area is legally compliant with license requirements, Working Time Directive, and other relevant legislation.
- Support Tarmac's budget structure to ensure all fleet is appropriately maintained and invested.
- Drive performance through national and regional logistics KPIs.
- Manage fleet size and vehicle type to best satisfy optimization demands, in line with Anaplan forecast.
- Take responsibility for the transport team, including monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing all drivers' hours for compliance with EU driver rules and regulations.
- Identify and implement Transport Safety Improvement Plans, working with local teams to reduce costs and increase utilization.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of transport regulations regarding O Licence, Driver Hours, Construction and Use Regulations.
- Lead, develop, and inspire people in your wider organization to cultivate high-performing, competent teams.
- Have a strong ability to deliver excellent performance and influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive results.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
