We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LGV Driver C+E (Low Loader) to join our Tarmac Pave Team in Birtley, Tyne and Wear. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the transportation of mobile plant from site to site, ensuring timely delivery and safe operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport mobile plant from site to site, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
  • Load and unload plant and equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
  • Plan and execute journeys to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
  • Liaise with the Plant Coordinator and Gang Foreman to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Comply with company standards and procedures, including health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid LGV (HGV) Class 1 licence.
  • Valid Digital Tacho Card.
  • Valid CPC Qualification Card.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
