Job Title: Children Home Manager

At PEXA Group, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children Home Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Progress Monitoring: Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the progress children and young people are making, taking effective action when necessary to ensure their needs are met.
  • Staff Support: Provide a supportive environment for staff through effective supervision, appraisal, and training programs tailored to the specific needs of the children and young people.
  • Professional Relationships: Foster high-quality professional relationships to ensure the best possible support to children and young people in all areas of their development.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote tolerance, equality, and diversity, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
  • Child Participation: Encourage and utilize children's views and participation, empowering them to take an active role in their development.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with the Residential Institute (RI) to continuously improve childcare standards.
  • Professional Development: Prioritize your own continual professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce/Residential Childcare, with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing successful teams through effective supervision.
  • Financial Management: Excellent budget management and financial control skills.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license.
