As we expand our services in children's care, we are looking for a seasoned Registered Manager to contribute significantly to our mission. With ongoing investments and properties being prepared for regulatory assessments, this position offers a unique chance to make a substantial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the Registered Home's Statement of Purpose.
  • Develop and implement a superior approach to meet the needs of children, ensuring adherence to regulations and achieving excellent inspection outcomes.
  • Oversee staff management, including recruitment, training, and shift scheduling.
  • Foster positive relationships and effective communication with stakeholders, including social workers and local authorities.
  • Manage the logistics of placement referrals, including the assessment and admission of new children, while conducting thorough risk evaluations.
  • Continuously evaluate the needs and risks associated with each child, ensuring their individual requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with psychological professionals to address the therapeutic needs of young individuals.
  • Maintain positive communication with the Regional Manager and support management.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding in recruitment and management practices.
  • Participate in childcare reviews and planning meetings to advocate for the best outcomes for young people.
  • Provide on-call and out-of-hours services as necessary.
  • Achieve the service's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), focusing on retention, referrals, and occupancy while prioritizing the needs of children and young people.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Social Care.
  • Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce.
  • Prior experience as a Registered Manager in a regulated residential setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range of £50,000 to £70,000, based on experience.
  • Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities and occasional shift support.
  • 28 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
