About the Role
We are seeking two Customer Helpers to join our team at Stagecoach Hastings Depot. As the public face of Stagecoach South East, you will provide information and assistance to customers using the Hastings rail interchange and town centre bus stops.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent verbal and social communication skills to customers
- Work in a mobile capacity, being resilient, flexible, and able to think outside the box
- Develop a friendly and approachable demeanour to enhance customer experience
- Utilize experience in customer service roles to effectively communicate company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide helpful real-time service information
- Contribute to the company's vision by using initiative to 'do the right thing' for customers
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and social communication skills
- Resilient, flexible, and able to work in a mobile capacity
- Friendly and approachable demeanour
- Experience in customer service roles
- Able to work independently
- Ability to learn and retain knowledge of products and services
- Ability to effectively communicate company policies/procedures to customers
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Care deeply, genuinely, and passionately about customer support
Working Arrangements
We are looking for two successful people who can work between or to cover our peak periods Monday to Fridays. Weekend work will be necessary with sufficient notice for significant events in the town centre.
