Job Title: Outreach Worker

Apricus Resourcing Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

About the Role:

This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week with a pay rate of £19.01 per hour. The role is based on a rolling contract basis, with a high chance of being turned permanent in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and update care plans for service users
  • Work within drug and alcohol services or a similar support role, providing home visits, assessments, and keywork
  • Engage with service users, facilitating group work sessions and one-to-one support
  • Manage a small caseload of complex outreach clients
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in the substance misuse sector
  • Sound understanding of the challenges faced by those affected by drug and alcohol issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with service users
