Job Title: Adult Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people. As an Adult Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, working closely with education staff to develop and implement a Whole School Approach to emotional wellbeing and mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Whole School Approach to emotional wellbeing and mental health
  • Work closely with education staff to support children and young people's emotional wellbeing and mental health
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including CBT and other therapeutic approaches
  • Supervise junior staff and provide guidance and support as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. nursing, social work, occupational therapy)
  • Experience working with children and young people, particularly in a mental health setting
  • Knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals
