Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparation and analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for internal stakeholders and Central Finance, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Assisting in the month-end closing process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy, with a thorough understanding of variances and meticulous balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting the development of operational elements for the rolling forecast and budget, reviewing and challenging outcomes.
  • Participating in the Year-end Stock count audit, including engineering stocks.
  • Engaging in NPD/Feasibility meetings to assess potential new business ventures.
  • Reviewing costing proposals with the Central costing team for proposed products.
  • Ensuring the effective operation of business systems while maintaining high standards of data integrity.
  • Coordinating and communicating with group functions and external stakeholders as required.
  • Assisting the Finance manager in the daily oversight of the Finance Team.

Your Qualifications and Skills:

  • Expertise in risk assessment, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong numerical skills with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Profit and Loss.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial colleagues, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly analytical with robust problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and process enhancement.
  • Determined and resilient, focused on achieving high-quality results.
  • Detail-oriented with experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environments.
  • Possessing confidence, initiative, and adaptability.
  • High integrity and the ability to build trust with colleagues.
  • Skilled in fostering relationships across all levels of the organization.
