Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled HR Advisor to enhance our Human Resources function. This role will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and operational teams to navigate employee relations, ensuring constructive and effective resolutions. The HR Advisor will also facilitate HR training sessions and mentor managers on best practices throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing case management related to employee absence and health concerns, including coordination with occupational health services and supporting managers in long-term sickness scenarios.

• Assisting line managers with disciplinary actions, investigations, grievances, and appeals processes.

• Providing guidance and coaching to line managers during challenging discussions as necessary.

• Contributing to the delivery of in-person HR training sessions.

• Supporting both online and offline training initiatives.

• Aiding in the advancement of development and succession planning efforts.

• Assisting in the revision of HR policies and maintaining up-to-date documentation.

• Supporting recruitment activities, including conducting interviews and organizing recruitment events.

• Offering generalist HR support to the broader team.

Candidate Profile:

• Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment legislation.

• CIPD qualification (preferably level 5 or higher) or currently pursuing the qualification.

• Proven experience in managing employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, appeal, performance, and capability matters.

• Experience in delivering training and confidence in presenting to groups.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing environment is advantageous.

Working Arrangement:

This is a full-time position (40 hours) with a hybrid working model. Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
