Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with students to identify and address their social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student well-being is prioritized and that a positive and nurturing environment is maintained.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement, motivation, and self-esteem.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to student well-being.
Requirements
  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting student welfare.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy school environment.
  • Some experience working in a school or with young people, preferably in a pastoral care role.
