Job Summary

DEED Leisure and Culture is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Casual Lead Sports Coach to join our team in delivering the school age Athletics Programme at the Regional Performance Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading sessions that engage children and promoting a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the teaching and coaching of various client groups with varying abilities
  • Develop and deliver a progressive and developmental programme
  • Maintain and update participant records
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment is provided at all times

Requirements

  • Hold an Athletics Level 2 (UKA Athletics Coach qualification)
  • Experience in Athletics coaching
  • Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
