About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team at PIB Group. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations while maximizing tax efficiency for the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Tax Compliance: Prepare annual corporation tax computations for UK companies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to UK tax laws.
  • Tax Reporting: Support the year-end tax reporting process under UK GAAP and IFRS, including preparation of tax disclosures in the annual statutory accounts.
  • Quarterly Tax Instalments: Calculate quarterly tax instalment payments for the group, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Best Practices: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in tax accounting, enhancing the Group's tax compliance and efficiency.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in tax law and accounting principles.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist the tax Manager with ad-hoc projects and other work as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Hold a professional accounting or tax qualification, such as ACCA or ACA.
  • Education: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional certification preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a Tax Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity in tax accounting practices.
