Position Overview:
Tax Compliance Accountant


As a Tax Compliance Accountant at PIB Group, you will be an integral part of our organization during a phase of ongoing growth and transformation.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure adherence to UK tax legislation while optimizing tax efficiency for the organization.

You will be responsible for assisting in the corporate tax compliance and reporting functions for both UK and international subsidiaries, collaborating closely with the Group Tax Managers.

Your role will involve supporting the tax manager in enhancing the Group's tax position from both domestic and international perspectives, ensuring compliance with all corporate filing deadlines as the business expands into new markets.


Your responsibilities will be diverse, working in close collaboration with internal teams as well as international teams from overseas subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of annual corporation tax computations for UK entities.
2. Support the year-end tax reporting process under UK GAAP and IFRS, including the preparation of tax disclosures in the annual statutory accounts.
3. Calculation of quarterly tax installment payments for the group.
4. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in tax accounting.
5. Engage in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in tax legislation and accounting principles.
6. Assist the tax manager with ad-hoc projects and other tasks as required.

Qualifications:
- Professional Accounting/Tax qualification (ACCA/ACA).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; ACCA, ACA, or CTA preferred.
- Proven experience in a Tax Accountant role or similar, with a solid understanding of UK tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity in tax accounting practices.

Desirable Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
- Proficiency in a European foreign language (desirable).
- Experience with international tax regimes and requirements (desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS tax accounting and good commercial awareness.
