About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team at PIB Group. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations while maximizing tax efficiency for the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Tax Compliance: Prepare annual corporation tax computations for UK companies and support the year-end tax reporting process under UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Tax Reporting: Assist in the preparation of tax disclosures in the annual statutory accounts and calculate quarterly tax instalment payments for the group.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in tax accounting and participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in tax law and accounting principles.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist the tax Manager with ad-hoc project/other work as and when required and proactively seek feedback and identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualification: Professional Accounting/Tax ACCA/ACA qualification.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CTA) preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Tax Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
