Job Summary:

We are seeking two experienced benefit assessors to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a Housing Benefit Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing all types of Housing Benefit claims, including Supported Temporary Accommodation, self-employed PFAs, and Council Tax Support claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of Housing Benefit claims to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of benefit legislation and regulations.
  • Utilize Civica OpenRevenues and D360 systems to process claims efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in benefit assessment or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of benefit legislation and regulations.
  • Experience with Civica OpenRevenues and D360 systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

What We Offer:

  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • 37 hours per week (9am-5:30pm).
