Job Title: Senior Parent Support Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Parent Support Advisor to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with families to provide listening advice and guidance to develop and enhance parenting skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based parenting programs to a defined client group, working in partnership with families to achieve sustainable and positive change.
  • Complete assessments using the Early Help Framework and Signs of Safety model to make appropriate referrals to other services.
  • Take on the role of Lead Professional, coordinating services in the Team Around the Family (TAF) and acting as the single point of contact when required.
  • Support families who do not meet the thresholds that trigger the involvement of specialist services.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience of direct work with children, young people, and their families in the family home or in the community.
  • Experience of working effectively in partnership with a range of communities, partner agencies, private sector bodies, public agencies, voluntary bodies, and statutory agencies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work assertively to achieve sustainable and positive change.
  • Ability to keep accurate records, organize, plan, and coordinate work, and proficient use of IT systems.
